Project EDWARD is organised by TISPOL, the Traffic Police network in Europe, and aims to ensure that there isn't a single death on European roads today.

On average, there are 70 people killed on roads across the continent every day, while there have been two fatalities in Clare this year so far.

Road Safety Officer with Clare County Council Barry Keating is appealing to road users to be constantly vigilant.
