Clare motorists are being urged to slow down and drive with care this festive period.
This week will see a surge in the number of cars on the roads, as people visit family and friends and make the most of the post-Christmas sales.

People are also being reminded to drink responsibly on nights out and not to drive until the effects of alcohol have worn off.
