A man also found at the property is being treated for serious injuries in a Belfast hospital.

The alert was raised when a 999 call was placed from inside the house yesterday morning.

A murder investigation has been launched, and the Police Service of Northern Ireland has said one line of inquiry was a triple murder and attempted suicide.

An Garda Síochána has been assisting the PSNI in liaising with family members in Clare.

Barefield native, Vanessa Whyte, who attended secondary school in Coláiste Muire in Ennis, moved to Fermanagh several years ago and was working as a Veterinary Surgeon with the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs in Enniskillen.

Both she and her two children have been described as active members of two local GAA clubs; St Mary’s Gaelic Football Club, Maguiresbridge and St Patrick’s Hurling Club, Lisbellaw.
