A Clare money advice service says mortgage arrears remains a huge concern for many families across the county.
MABS say they are assisting roughly 230 people in Co Clare of which around 60% have mortgage problems with around 92,000 people in arrears nationwide.

MABS have been offering assistance to people in Clare for over 20 years, with its main office in Ennis and advice services weekly in Shannon, Scarriff, Killaloe, Miltown Malbay, Kilrush.
Elaine Clifford says the sooner people act on their debt problems the better, as many banks are willing to do deals with customers.
