A Clare Restaurateur who has just been awarded a MICHELIN Star is crediting excellent local produce as their secret to success.
Homestead Cottage in Doolin became one of three Irish outlets to be awarded a single MICHELIN star at an awards ceremony in the Midlands Hotel in Manchester last night.
One MICHELIN Star is awarded to restaurants using top quality ingredients, where dishes with distinct flavours are prepared to a consistently high standard.
Robbie MacCauley who opened Homestead Cottage alongside his partner Sophie just seven months ago is hopeful the success will pull them through a challenging time for the sector.
