Men in Clare are being reminded of the importance of checking in with both themselves and those around them.
It comes as Men’s Health Week takes place across the region aiming to heighten awareness of preventable health problems for males of all ages, and support them in healthier lifestyles.

Rates in numbers of male smokers, numbers of death by heart attack and suicide numbers are all falling which it’s believes is due to more men talking openly about health issues.
Health Promotion Officer with HSE West, Paul Gillen, says it’s important for men to visit their GP as soon as they notice a health concern.
