Two Clare men have been honoured for donating blood 100 times.

Noel Howard from Ennis and Andrew Scannell from O'Briens Bridge received a porcelain pelican as a mark of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service's appreciation.
In an awards ceremony 159 Donors from the midwest received a pin marking 50 donations of those 44 were from Clare.
The IBTS says it needs to collect 3,000 units of blood each week.
