The Mayor Of Clare says increasing the transatlantic offering at Shannon Airport is a key priority for the new year.
More than 44,000 inbound passengers arrived in Shannon from New York JFK, Boston Logan and Newark between July and September of 2022.

A new daily United Airlines service between Shannon and Chicago is due to get underway next May.
Cathaoirelach of Clare County Council, Fianna Fail Councillor Tony O’Brien, says the aim is to ensure the airport can continue to thrive as a key economic driver for the region and the county.
