A young Clare man who says alcohol addiction led to several episodes of carnage in his life is imploring others to begin the road to recovery as North Clare prepares to host an international event on the topic.
The All-Ireland Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous Convention will take place at the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon from February 28th until March 2nd.

In the last year on record, there were 23 cases of persons aged from under 18 to 24 in this county receiving treatment for alcohol addiction.
Mark who chose to remain anonymous outlines the moments that brought him to seek help.
