A 48-year-old Clare man has appeared in court in connection with the rape and aggravated sexual assault of a woman seven years ago.
At Ennis District Court, the man was also charged with the harassment of the woman on dates between June 1st, 2009 and September 16th, 2010.
The rape and aggravated sexual assault charges concerns a date between August 1st and September 16th 2010.

The man was remanded on bail to appear before Ennis District Court on December 13th for the preparation of a Book of Evidence.
The case will be going forward to the Central Criminal Court.
