A Clare man living close to Poland’s border with Ukraine says the situation there is now “manic” as more and more refugees flee the war-torn country.
Ennis native Colin Mangan has been living in Poland for ten years and is married with two sons.

He’s helped to bring 9 people to safety from the border, while his family have taken in another family from Ukraine.
Colin says the reception centre at the border is now “packed to the rafters” and that numbers the size of the population are passing through over the course of just hours.
