The Clare County Librarian says local libraries have seen major growths in popularity since the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Clare County Council has published a report that shows over 360,000 items were borrowed from Clare libraries in 2023, an over 6% increase on the previous years figures.
Meanwhile, the counties libraries also had over 75,000 loans of e-resources during the year and provided 95 deliveries to homes.
Author of the report, Helen Walsh says local libraries have decided to keep on some of the practises they learn during the Covid-19 pandemic.
