Clare LEO Signals Positive Signs For Some Companies Though Warns Of Tough Road Ahead

The Local Enterprise Office in Clare has signalled a turn around in fortune for some businesses in this county in the first quarter of this year.

Announcing its annual results for 2020, the Clare LEO says 179 new jobs were created in this county with LEO assistance, with a net job loss of 55 in the same timeframe.

Its Head of Enterprise has described the year as challenging, given the difficulties posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, with many companies in Clare deferring investment.
