A Clare Barrister is demanding accountability from Gardaí as to whether the rights of protestors were violated outside Dáil Eireann this week.
On Monday, the Mothers Against Genocide group blocked the gates of Leinster House as part of a demonstration and were forcibly removed by Gardaí.
14 people in total were arrested , three were charged and 11 were released with caution, however the activists are in the process of making a formal complaint to Fiosrú amid claims that some members were subjected to a strip and cavity search – something An Garda Síochána has categorically denied.
