Clare Landlord Condemned For Offering Free Accommodation To Ukrainians In Exchange For Sex

The Department of Housing has condemned a landlord for offering free accommodation to Ukrainian refugees for sex.

A landlord in Clare had offered his property to Ukrainian women with the expectation, according to the Irish Examiner.

The department has asked members of the public to report any abusive soliciting of its kind to An Garda Síochána.

There is currently no legislation in place to deal with sex-for-rent arrangements.
