Clare land prices still remain behind the national average.
A new agricultural land survey has found that land sale prices nationally have increased by 450 euro per acre bringing the average price to just over 10 thousand euro.

However in Clare, like other Northern and Western counties, sees the price per acre reaching over 7,000 euro.
The increase was recorded in teh first 6 months of this year and Knight Frank, who conducted the survey says it proves the market is stabilising and returning to levels last seen in 2003.
