Clare's Labour TD Michael McNamara says he cannot support the proposed plans to deal with traffic congestion at Blake's Corner in Ennistymon.
The Clare TD has welcomed moves to bring a permanent solution to issues in the North Clare town, but says he can't agree with any plan that will uproot peoples' lives.

It's currently suggested that two homes and a business would be affected under Council plans, but Deputy McNamara has believes the Council's own building on the Ennistymon Road be knocked instead.
The Council is still in talks with the families concerned, and has not commented on his suggestion, but Deputy McNamara thinks it's the way to go.
