Clare Labour is calling for an all-party delegation to travel to Gaza in order to get a firm grasp on the events unfolding there.
It comes as Israeli ground troops have reportedly carried out “relatively large” raids against Hamas in Gaza overnight, while yesterday, Israel’s Prime Minister again warned his armed forces were preparing for a wide-scale ground invasion.
The UN Security Council has failed to pass a resolution to pause the violence in Gaza so humanitarian aid can be let in.
