The Vice Chair of the Clare Joint Policing Committee is calling on the Gardaí to use all their force to tackle escalating violence in Ennis.
An investigation is currently underway following reports of a firearm being discharged in the Cloughleigh area of the town on Wednesday evening.

Video footage of the incident has been widely shared on social media and it’s believed the incident is in relation to an ongoing feud in the area.
Ennis Councillor Pat Daly says the town has never had to deal with this level of violence.
