A member of the Clare Joint Policing Committee is making a fresh call for consistent Garda Patrols in Lahinch over the summer period.
It comes amid reports of severe Anti-Social behaviour in the North Clare town last weekend involving public drinking, noise pollution and the erection of illegal encampments on the promenade car park.
The events led to a meeting attended by twenty-four business owners yesterday, citing concerns over the consequential impact on the local economy.
Former Fine Gael Councillor & member of the Lahinch Development Committee, Bill Slattery believes the viability of the tourist hotspot is under threat.
