A Clare member of ISME’s National Council is warning that businesses could collapse unless customers shop local this Christmas.
ISME’s launched its Think, Spend & Support LOCAL campaign ahead of the festive period as SME’s face a third consecutive Christmas with difficult trading conditions.

Siobhan Ni Ghairbith of St. Tola’s Goat and Cheese farm in Ennistymon says small businesses often rely on the seasonal period to generate up to 30% of their annual income.
She says the choices consumers make this December could ‘make or break’ businesses.
