Clare ISME Rep Claims New Government PRSI Policy Will Penalise Small Businesses Most

A Clare member of the Irish Small and Medium Enterprise Council claims that government policy is forcing struggling firms to the brink.

This week Cabinet has approved plans that will see employee and employer PRSI contributions increase incrementally up to an average of €46 per year by 2027.

The move is designed to provide enhanced social protection payments for those who’ve lost their jobs for a period of up to nine months.
