A Civic Reception will take place today to celebrate this county’s All-Ireland Hurling and Camogie Championship winning teams of 2023.
In June, Brian O’Connell’s Clare Minor Hurling Squad bridged a twenty-six year gap without the Irish Press Cup by defeating a hotly fancied Galway outfit in Semple Stadium, Thurles.

In August, it was the turn of the Clare Junior Camogie side, managed by John Carmody who scooped the Kay Mills Cup for the fifth time following a 3-07 to 1-07 victory over Tipperary in Croke Park.
Mayor of Clare Joe Cooney will host both panels at the special event in Arás Chontae An Chláir this evening from 5pm.
