A Clare Independent TD claims the use of tents for accommodating refugees in Knockalisheen is ‘unfortunately inevitable’.
It comes as 80 asylum seekers had to sleep in tents in freezing conditions in Knockalisheen in the last few nights.

Scariff based Independent TD, Michael McNamara says there are over 2,900 Clare households on the housing list as far back as December 2017.
Deputy McNamara claims there isn’t enough housing so the Government had little choice but to use tents.
