Clare Independent TD is calling on the Minister For Justice to establish a reception centre for refugees at Shannon Airport.
Deputy Michael McNamara says Ukrainian refugees arriving to Shannon on fights originating from Poland are having to wait hours for transportation to take them to the reception centre in Dublin.

The Scariff TD is commending the efforts of Shannon Airport staff and members of An Garda Síochána in meeting the needs of refugees while they wait to advance to Dublin.
However, Michael McNamara believes the situation needs to be rectified urgently as it’s causing undue distress.
