Clare election candidate Richard Cahill says he hasn't ruled out an alliance in the upcoming general election.

The Sixmilebridge businessman, who ran as a European Election candidate in 2014, has joined the Dáil race as an independent.
He says he favours the kind of groupings seen in European parliament where representatives can come together on different issues, without a party whip.
Richard has told Clare Fm, that the nature of the whip causes representative problems.
