A Clare Immigration Lawyer who’s currently operating in New York says the Taoiseach needs to intervene in the case of Seamus Culleton.
The Kilkenny native who’s married to a US citizen, owns a plastering business in Boston and has been living in the states for almost 20 years, but has been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement since September for overstaying a 90-day visa issued in 2009.
Culleton has likened conditions in his Texas based detention centre to a concentration camp and has said he fears for his life.
Doolin native and Immigration Lawyer Lorcan Shannon believes Micheál Martin can influence the case.
