A Clare Immigration Lawyer based in the US says there’s more tension, fear and almost panic among the migrant community there than he’s witnessed in more than decade.
It comes amid concerns from the undocumented Irish in America that they could end up in Guantanamo Bay.

The Trump administration is denying its planning to send illegal immigrants to the US run prison in Cuba, while the Department of Foreign Affairs also says it understands there are no plans to do this.
But New York-based immigration lawyer Lorcan Shannon, who’s from Doolin, has told Clare FM’s Morning Focus that says migrants are very worried.
