The state has faced intense scrutiny this year for their lack of communication prior to refugees moving into Magowna House and the Central Hotel in Miltown Malbay, with the former leading to the erection of a local road block.
Co-Ordinator of Clare Immigrant Support Network, Eimear O’Connor, believes the initiative can prevent unnecessary and protracted protests.
