Clare Immigrant Support Centre Describes New Scheme As Life-Changing

The Clare Immigrant Support Centre has described a new scheme which will allow undocumented people here to regularise their status as “life-changing”.

It will open in January and will allow those living in Ireland for 4 years or more, or 3 years with children, to apply and regularise their immigration status.

It’s estimated that there are around 17,000 undocumented in Ireland, including 3,000 children.

Coordinator with the Clare Immigrant Support Centre, Orla Ní Eili has been telling Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill that it will affect a number of people living in this county.
