The Chairman of Clare IFA says he's encouraged by the latest membership figures for the Association.
There are total a of 75,000 fully paid-up members eligible to vote in the election for President and Deputy President next month.
National Chairman Jer Bergin has also revealed that 528 members have cancelled their membership since a number of senior officers resigned amid controversy over salaries at the Association in November of last year.
Andrew Dundas insists that, all things considered, a relatively low number of farmers have left.
