Clare IFA Chair Warning Of Severe Impact On Farm Cash Flow If CAP Payments Are Delayed

The chair of the IFA in Clare is warning that proposed delays to farm payments will have a severe impact on cashflow for farmers.

It comes as the Deputy President of the IFA has called for plans to go back to the drawing board in relation to the rescheduling of payments under the new CAP scheme.

Discussions under the Farmers Charter of Rights saw the Department and farming representatives disagree on the move, with another meeting planned for early April.
