Willie Hanrahan is speaking as National Farm Safety Week continues, which this year focusses on the dangers of operating machinery, and transportation it on the roads.
It comes ahead of an event in Ennis on Friday, when farm safety techniques willl be demonstrated.

Willie Hanrahan narrowly avoided serious injury in a farm accident many years ago and he believes even near misses can be prevented, if farmers accept that they need help.
