House prices in Clare fell by 17% last year with the county in line with the national average.
The figures have been released by the Sunday times and shows a further decline in property prices folwing a 12% drop in 2010.

Prices are now back to 2000 levels – falling by over a third last year in Wexford alone which suffered the biggest decrease in property prices in the country.
