Clare hoteliers are rejecting the findings of a survey which claims room prices are increasing.

A report from hotels.com claimed that prices in Irish hotels rose by two per cent in the first half of the year, and that this was a good sign for the Irish economy.
However, Lahinch hotelier and President of the Irish Hotels Federation Michael Vaughan says the poll is "irresponsible and misleading", and does not tally with recent figures from the Central Statistics Office.
