Clare Hotelier Says Manadatory Quarantine Welcome But More Business Supports Needed

A prominent Clare hotelier says more supports are still needed for the hospitality industry in spite of mandatory quarantine rules now being in place for incoming travellers.

Current Level 5 restrictions will be extended until at least March 5th, with people who arrive into Ireland without a negative PCR test now being required to isolate in hotels upon the arrival.

The Irish Hotel Federation says it expects engagement with government over the coming days as details of the plan are worked out by Ministers.
