Clare Hotelier Not Confident In 2021 International Tourism Market

A Clare Hotelier expects there to be another strong focus on the staycation market for the tourism season of 2021.

While hopes have been raised of a return of international travel next year, especially in tandem with the rollout of a COVID-19 vaccine, it will likely be well into the New year before enough of the population is vaccinated to make significant difference.

The call on people to holiday at home this summer saw large numbers travel to Clare this year, and those operating in the sector say this will be crucial once more.
