Clare Hotel To Be Used As Vaccination Centre

A Clare hotel is to be used as a vaccination centre by the HSE.

The Radisson Blu Hotel, in the area of the Clare-Limerick Border, will be one of the facilities for administering the COVID-19 jab in the Midwest region.

It’s understood another site in Clare is also currently being earmarked by the HSE for administering vaccines.

It comes as the HSE plans to up 40 vaccination centres nationwide in the next number of weeks, with one million doses scheduled to arrive every month from May onwards.

There is currently no firm timeline as to when the centre will be open.
