There’s less than one week to go to the Digital Switchover, but many Clare homes have yet to make the change in the way they view TV.

A survey on the clare-dot-fm website reveals over a third of those asked whether their televisions are ready for digital signals still havn’t made the switch to Saorview, cable or satellite.
57% of those who logged on to clare-dot-fm said they’re ready for the changeover, while 5% admitted some confusion saying they didn’t know.
The old analogue signal for Irish Television channels will be switched off next Wednesday, meaning those using aerials need a saorview box or a new TV, though those with cable or satellite will be unnaffected.
