Clare County Council is one of the local authorities in Ireland which has the right to reduce or increase the charge by 15%, and has cut it by the maximum permitted amount in each of the last two years.
A meeting in September will decide on its level for 2017, and ahead of that the Council is inviting people to have their say.
People can make submissions until Sunday next, with more details available on lpt.clarecoco.ie
