Owners of second homes or rental properties in Clare have been given a reprieve for debts owed to the Department of the Environment.

They now have until August 31st to settle any outstanding Non-Principal Private Residence payments.
The charge has been discontinued, but applied from 2009 to 2013 to any residential property in which the owner did not reside as their normal place of residence.
