A Clare Historian fears the Palestinian people will face annihilation without real and meaningful intervention from the Irish Government.
It follows a tree planting ceremony held in conjunction with the East Clare for Palestine group in Tuamgraney Memorial Park over the weekend in solidarity with the people of Gaza.

Last night a further 30 innocent civilians lost their lives in the ongoing conflict after an Israeli airstrike struck an all girls school.
Event Organiser and Secretary of the East Clare Memorial Group Dr Tomás MacComara says western democracies cannot continue to turn a blind eye to such atrocities.
