Clare heritage projects receive funding boost

13 heritage projects in Clare are to benefit from over thirty thousand euro in funding.

The Heritage Council has approved in principal 32,000 for the community projects across the county under the Community Heritage Grants Scheme.

Projects benefitting from the funding include the Graveyard Artwork, Mapping & Interpretation on the Loop Head Peninsula, Kilrush Tidy Towns, Templemaley East Window Conservation, Ogonnelloe Community Heritage Project and Clarecastle Community Development Ltd.

197 heritage projects across the country will receive funds under the Scheme which is supoprted by the Minister for Arts Heritage and the Gaelteacht Heather Humpries.
