Clare Haven says its services are being put under pressure due to the increase in the prevalence of domestic and gender based violence.
The organisation’s annual report shows the demand for refuge services peaked in 2025, with 214 women and children admitted to crisis services.

The report also shows demand for refuge has almost doubled since 2019.
