Clare Haven has documented “ongoing year-on-year” increases in admissions to its refuge service.
New figures from the domestic abuse charity show there was a 16% rise in admissions in 2022 compared to 2021.

The charity, which provides a number of services to women and children who experience domestic abuse, has also noted an 86% rise in the number of women availing of its outreach support service.
