Clare Haven Say New Stalking Laws Put Onus Of Crime Back On Perpetrator

Clare Haven’s Service Manager says new laws around stalking put the onus of a crime back on to the perpetrator.

New laws signed off on by the Government will see stalking as well as non-fatal strangulation become standalone offences.

10 years will now be the maximum sentence for assault causing harm, which is a doubling of current limits.
