Clare Haven’s to receive a funding boost under a new Government initiative announced this week.
The voluntary organisation that helps those confronted with domestic abuse is to be allocated €16,000 under a Department of Justice fund for victims of crime.

It’s understood the organisation once again recorded an increase in demand for its services over the Christmas period.
The funding boost totals 5.25 million euro across more than 65 organisations nationwide.
