Clare Haven Hopeful New State Agency Will Take Zero Tolerance Approach

Clare Haven is hopeful a new state agency launching today will spearhead a zero tolerance approach to domestic violence throughout the country.

Cuan, the statutory body for domestic, sexual and gender based violence will be led by the HSE’s former Director of National Planning, Dr Stephanie O’Keefe.

One of Cuan’s primary goals will be to deliver 280 new accessible refuge accommodation units by 2026.
