Clare hauliers have been involved in two protests outside quarries in Bunratty and Toonagh today, as part of a dispute over pay.

The independent hauliage contractors are demanding that Roadstone Wood improve their rates of pay, and say current rates are not of a high-enough level to allow them upgrade their aging vehicles.
Around 18 hauliers are seeking improved conditions – Clare FM has sought comment from Roadstone in relation to this, but has received no response at this point.
