Clare Hauliers are to raise concerns about a lack of hedge-cutting on some rural roads directly with the Minister for Transport.

The Irish Road Haulage Association is to hold talks with Leo Varadkar, where they will call on the Road Safety Authority to provide funding and take action to address what they say is a serious road safety issue.
It comes as Clare County Council and local farmers groups come together to discuss a joint plan to tackle the issue locally.
